Avoid The Overconfidence Trap

If democrats become overconfident that Trump will lose, then he will win.  That's what happened in 2016 and it could easily happen again this year.  Overconfidence guarantees a loss by making voters stay home.  Who wants to wait in line at the polls when they feel their vote doesn't matter anyway?  Even if only a few key districts in a few key states become overconfident, it can make all the difference.  We saw that in 2016 as well.  Hillary was supposed to win in a landslide, people stayed home because they thought their votes weren't important, Trump rallied a few undecided voters in key locations to his side and then he won.  The only way to beat Trump is that everyone who is committed to voting for the Democrat, Joe Biden, actually does show up and vote.  Be registered to vote as early as possible.  Help register others to vote and help get them to the polls on election day.  Tell them they shouldn't be overconfident that Trump will lose.  Tell them their vote matters.  Do not forget how Trump sought to downplay (coronavirus) COVID-19 as a hoax and as nothing to worry about.  This virus has wrecked American life and it has wrecked the economy and it didn't have to happen.  It wouldn't have happened if we'd had a president who was willing to speak the truth and take quick action when intelligence agencies warned him.
